I'm excited about so many people participating in this fast together. Remember to be specific about the reasons for fasting. What are we praying for, specifically? And whatever the specific needs are, remember that God rewards those who diligently seek Him.

In Ezra Chapter 8, God’s people proclaimed a fast to seek direction, protection, favor, and blessing.

Fasting and Prayer for Protection
21 Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions
Our purpose is to draw close to Him and receive His guidance. He will help us as we commit each day to Him and pray.
